Atif Aslam one of the biggest and known singer of Pakistan, has been given tax notice by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). According to resources, FBR has sent notice to Pakistani singer Atif Aslam to pay Rs. 58 Million in taxes.

FBR has conducted audit of Atif’s 2018 income. According to resources, if Aslam does not pay the due 58 million then FBR would freeze his bank accounts to make recovery.

Similarly, In past FBR has conducted investigation to know income sources of most popular singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. In year 2019, FBR fastened its efforts to evaluate and know income of different showbiz stars, media personalities and artists. FBR urged them to declare their income and assets to collect taxes as per tax percentage criteria.

Likewise, previously Rahat Fateh Ali Khan came under federal board’s radar; an investigation was launched to know his sources of income.

In 2019, FBR also urged all citizens and especially media personalities and celebrities to declare their assets or else the board would take strict action against them.
