Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry just announced the “biggest scholarship in Pakistan,” program where he said that government will provide scholarship to every deserving student from Matriculation to Ph.D.
Further elaborating on this scholarship program, he said that ten Matriculation toppers and ten Intermediate one from each district will respectively be awarded 10,000 award and 12,000 per month.
The Federal Minister made this tremendous announcement during the meeting of Standing Committee on Science and Technology under the chairmanship of Senator Mushtaq Ahmed.
Adding that, “After 15 years, we have completed the boards of various agencies of the ministry.”
He also elaborated further on his plan to bring electric vehicle to Pakistan and said that “Bringing an electronic vehicle is a great achievement for us,” he also announced the manufacturing of dialysis machine and other similar healthcare devices in Pakistan commencing soon. The minister termed this year of 2021 “game changer” for “Made in Pakistan.”
Federal Government back in 2020 March also introduced the same scheme designed specifically for undergraduates under the Ehsaas Progra. The government allocated Rs24 billion to support a total of 200,000 for 4-year period. Half quota was allocated for girls with low income background and two percent was set aside for students with special needs.
